Before You Install

Synthesis Radionics is independent, unsigned software, so Windows may show a security warning during download or install. This is expected — read our Security Status & Acknowledgment page for the full explanation, current antivirus scan results, and what to do if Windows blocks the installer outright (Smart App Control).

Getting Started

1. Keep all files together. The EXE, Sessions folder, and included documents must stay in the same folder. Do not move the EXE out by itself.
2. Double-click “Synthesis Radionics.exe” to launch. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning on first run — click “More info” → “Run anyway.” This is normal for software that isn’t Microsoft Store signed.
3. Read and accept the License Agreement inside the app. Check the box, then click ENTER to open the workspace.
4. Save your work — name it your way. When you’re ready to save your session, click 💾 Save Session in the toolbar. You’ll be prompted to name it. Your named session is stored in the Sessions folder next to the EXE and appears in your Session Library the next time you open the app.

Automatic backup: the app also writes a silent safety copy to Documents\Radionics Pro Sessions\ every time you save. This is your insurance policy if a hardware glitch, power cut, or crash ever happens after you’ve built something important. It does not replace naming and saving your session manually.

The Menu System

Home Screen

• LOAD SCENE — opens the Session Library to browse and load previously saved sessions.
• ENTER — goes directly into a blank workspace (requires agreeing to the license first).

Session Library

• + IMPORT SESSION — brings a saved .json file into your library from anywhere on your computer.
• Cards show each session’s name, machine count, and contents.
• Click a card name to rename it inline.
• ▶ LOAD SESSION — loads the session into the workspace.
• SESSIONS ↗ / BACKUP ↗ — open the storage folders in Explorer.

Inside the Workspace

• ⌂ MENU — returns to the Session Library at any time without losing your current work.
• ⌂ Menu (toolbar) — returns to the Home screen.
• 💾 Save Session — save and name the current canvas.
• ⊞ Batch Load — load multiple machines at once.

System Requirements

• Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
• 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended for large sessions)
• 100 MB free disk space
• No internet connection required for normal use — fully offline. (One exception: viewing a PDF inside a session currently requires internet for the PDF viewer component; everything else works offline.)

Transferring to Another Computer

Copy the entire Synthesis Radionics folder to the new machine. Your Sessions folder travels with it. The backup copies in Documents\Radionics Pro Sessions\ stay on the original machine as an automatic safety net.
